Our Day Nursery provides childcare services for parents with children from six months to three years, who want to combine their parental care with employment. Experienced qualified nursery staff will take care of their children during that time. With each child our nursery staff takes up an individual approach recommended by parents and attends to the child’s balanced development and its spontaneous integration into collective activities. According to their age, children are grouped into two units. Within their daily schedule children have plenty of time to move around, play, eat and sleep. Children play in the nursery playrooms, in the garden or they go for a walk. The food is prepared fresh in our in-house kitchen.
Our Day Nursery provides its childcare services mostly to children of Prague 2 Municipal District, as well as from other districts in case of free capacity. For admission, it is necessary to fill out the application form, have it confirmed by the child’s paediatrician and file it with the nursery. You will be informed about admission in writing. Catering and share of the operating costs is charged according to the price list established by the nursery’s founder. The application form with price list is available at the Reception Desk of Social Services Centre, Máchova 14 from 7.00 to 19.00 or during the nursery’s operating hours at the headmaster’s office (see above) or you may download it here.
The nursery is operated in conformity with the healthcare facilities regulations.
Additional information:
Operating hours of Day Nursery are from 6.00 to 17.00.
The Watching Service hours are from 8.00 to 11.00, or 11.30, if the child stays over lunch. Afternoon Watching Service is provided only in exceptional cases.
The amount of nursery charge (see price list) for placing the child in nursery is governed by the mother’s permanent place of residence (or by father’s permanent place of residence if the child is brought up by father).
Unless we are filled to capacity, our Day Nursery provides babysitting services (see Charges) to parents who either draw or do not draw parental allowance.
We offer following babysitting services depending on the type of parental allowance (under the Amendment to the State Social Support Act, which came into effect on 1 January 2012):
For five days per month, providing that a parent did not make any changes to the way parental allowance was drawn.
46 hours per month for children under the age of two, if a parent altered the type of parental allowance (in that case, proof of change to parental alowance is required).
